FEATURES from DESTINATIONS
An
Irish Jewish Museum? Ah, 'tis
true… Instead of a slow boat to China
how about gliding in a river boat
leisurely up the Mississippi… No, we
did not run out of vowels with Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo.
Think Mexico and beaches.
Better yet, read on...

Irish
Jewish Museum:
Tracing the History of Ireland's Jews
Count
on Carol Sorgen—JustSayGo's managing editor—to
find the only Irish Jewish museum in existence
on her recent visit to Dublin. More than 10,000
visitors a year visit the almost 20-year-old former
synagogue, founded by the Irish-born Chaim Herzog,
Israel's former president. Carol also found a
small Irish Jewish population right in Dublin.

Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo:
The Other Mexican Gateway
Crystal
blue skies, lounge chairs, sandcastles…
now that's Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo, a real Mexican
getaway. Naeem Randhawa takes us to Ixtapa, an
exclusive oceanside resort with sunny beaches,
unusual restaurants and tourist attractions. Later
he brings us to Zihuatanejo, a bustling center
of commerce where locals sell original artisan
silver, handcrafts, and gourmet foods. More |

TRAVEL
EASE
Women
looking for something classy and travel worthy just might
want to check out Chico's online. Although the sizing is
a tad unusual, Chico's clothing runs the gamut, from casual
to classic. The Traveler's Collection is so versatile it
can be scrunched into a ball and thrown into a suitcase
or bag. Once unpacked the pieces are wrinkle-free and ready
to wear. One JSG volunteer tried a pair of black pants and
a red top from the Traveler's line and deemed it travel-worthy.
"It's very lightweight and comfortable," she said
after a day's wear.
Is
there something you'd like reviewed? Let us know before
buying a new travel item. We'll let you know if it meets
JSG's standards.

TRAVEL
TIP
There's
always something a traveler wants to wear again. Try rinsing
your favorite item in the sink with a teaspoon of shampoo.
Rinse and wring thoroughly. Put a large absorbent towel
on the floor and lay the clothing on top. Fold the towel
into thirds and then roll into a loose jellyroll. Step (or
dance) on the towel until it's wet. Unroll and put on a
hanger. By morning your clothing will be a bit wrinkled
and ready for an iron, but dry.
